CLA’s are reflective, process-based responses that promote the appropriate investigation skills of the Artist-Teacher- Researcher. For the purpose of this report I will focus on the Unit of Learning I completed with my 1st year group on Linocut printmaking.
The rationale for collecting and evaluating the information I found will go through a structured inquiry and reflection in relation to my School Placement 1, in an attempt to enhance the current understanding where the main goal is to improve student learning in the area of printmaking, specifically how to create a Lino-cut, as requested by my co-operating teacher.
This CLA offers different areas that draw on information I gathered using the Brookfield four Lenses, post lesson reflections in my reflective notebook, weekly reflections, evaluations of students work, videos, as well as handouts and surveys I gave to students throughout my teaching placement.
