The Unit of Learning (UoL) is for a Fractured Still Life artwork. The theme for this UoL was Identity and the timeline for this project was created to be similar to that of the Leaving Certificate Booklet. For this Still Life, students were to use their artist research to deside on two/three different mediums, bringing the 'fractured' element. The approach students took to the mediums and the technique they used were also to be inspired by their choosen artists. This project linked closely in with the topics covered in Art Appreciation.

This UoL was completed with a 5th year group yet can be adapted to suit the Junior Cycle Curriculum
